Westwood 'Wes' Hugh Fletcher, III, 55, of Bradenton, passed away Feb. 4, 2017.
Wes was born on March 4, 1961 in Apple Valley, California to the late Capt. Westwood H. Jr., USAF-Retired and Audrey J. (Lange) Fletcher. He moved to the Holmes Beach at a very young age and resided on the Island until 2011 when he moved into Bradenton. He formerly worked as a machinist for Sun Hydraulics in Manatee County. He was also a member of The Way Church of Bradenton.
Wes is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Shelly (Hakeos) Fletcher, son, Dylan McIntosh, three daughters; Heather (Chris Foley) Robuck, Lauren (Andrew) Bilan, Jordan 'J-Bug' all of Bradenton, his two sisters; Joan (Danny Phippen) Fletcher of Tamarac, FL, Lynda D. (Eric) Ray of Tampa, seven grandchildren; Audrey, Veda, Azaelia, Zander, Alexander, Caitlin, Allison, sister-in-law, Vicki Goodrich of Spokane, WA, and many extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 A.M. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 with a Celebration of Wes's life to follow at 11:00 A.M. at Shannon Funeral Home Westview Chapel, 5610 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to either the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society in his memory.
