Walter F. Clarke passed away peacefully Friday, April 20, 2018, at Blake Hospital in Bradenton FL, surrounded by his three sons.
Born June 18, 1932, he was the son of the late Walter and Mildred Clarke.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Also “Jolly Wally,” as nicknamed by his beloved brothers of FDNY 7 Truck, served twenty-seven years as a fireman and officer in New York City.
He is survived by his sister Joan Alvino; his sons Michael, Douglas, and Walter; three grandchildren, Michael, Riley, and Jackson; one great grandson, Aiden; and his loving partner, Mona Graham.
A private, family service will be held.
