Virginia F. Crocker, 81, Palmetto, passed away September 12, 2016. She was born November 9, 1934 in Highland Park, Michigan to the late George and Florence (Akroyd) Lundy. Virginia came to Manatee County in 1988 coming from Hazel Park, MI.
She was a member of the V.F.W. Women’s Auxiliary of Post 2488, American Legion Women’s Auxiliary of Post 309, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2117 all of Palmetto.
Virginia was predeceased by her first husband Kenneth R. Foley, and is survived by her 2nd loving husband, Donald Raymond Crocker of Palmetto, two sons; Steve Brown of Leigh Acres, FL, John Foley of Fowlerville, MI, two daughters; Sandra Brown of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Tamara Doan of Lamington, Ontario, Canada, one brother, Robert Lundy of Largo, FL, three sisters; Shirley R. Kaye of Palmetto, FL & Fenton, MI, Doris E. Bloye of Palmetto, Georgine M. Knight of FL, seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2117, Palmetto, Florida.
