Viola B Shaw

Viola Baker Shaw (Vi ) 91, of Holmes Beach FL went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 30, 2018.

Vi was born October 10, 1926 in Poughkeepsie, New York to parents Robert and Viola Baker Shaw. Vi grew up in the Hudson Valley and was a long time resident of Rhinebeck, NY.

She was owner and manager of The Beekman Arms Firehouse Gift Shop for over 10 years. Prior to retirement she managed The Beekman Arms Antique Market.

In 1997, Vi retired to Holmes Beach, FL and enjoyed spending time at the beach, traveling and volunteering. She was a devoted Mom, Grandmother and Friend. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her beloved companion Eric Jautz, her two children; Bob Suppies and Jesse Elliott and grandchildren; Elizabeth, Brendan, Nicholas, Sarah and Julie.

She is predeceased by her sister Virginia Nolan of Albany, NY.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Friday April 20th from 1-3 at Shannon Funeral Homes West View Chapel 5610 Manatee Ave. W Bradenton, FL
