Velma (Neuhouser) Klopfenstein a long time resident of Bradenton, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Friday the 10th of March 2017 at Westminster Towers and Shores of Bradenton.
Velma was born in Leo, Indiana, to the late Levi and Katie (Liechty) Neuhouser. She was a long standing member of Grace Baptist Church in Bradenton and was a homemaker and formerly worked as a sales associate with Beall’s Department Store.
She was preceded in death by her husband Warren “Dutch” Klopfenstein, a loving son, Larry Klopfenstein, and six brothers and sisters.
Velma is survived by her loving daughter, Kay Albritton of Bradenton, one remaining sister, Darlene Miller of Sarasota, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Shannon Funeral Home Town Chapel, 1015 14th Street West, Bradenton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church, 509 26th Avenue East, Bradenton. Interment will follow at Manasota Memorial Park in Bradenton.
