Thomas (Bud) Walter Spivey III, 68, of Crossville, TN formerly of Bradenton, passed away at the Crossville Medical Center, Crossville Tennessee on May 17, 2016 at 1:30 AM
Bud was born on November 12, 1947 in Bradenton where he was raised. He was a True Florida Native, enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. Loved spending time with his Grand Children and Great-grandchildren. Everyone who knew Bud knew he had a great sense of humor and loved a good joke.
During the Vietnam War he served with the U.S. Army where he was awarded the bronze star for his gallantry in combat while saving the lives of others during wartime in the Republic of Vietnam.
He worked with the Bradenton Police Department, Bill Graham Ford, and Bank of America. Bud was very active in the community, serving on the Manatee County Fair Board and Manatee 100 Club, he also donated time to numerous charities.
He is survived by Wife; Linda Spivey of 49 years, Sons; Keith & Kenneth Spivey, Grandson; Thomas Walter Spivey IV, Granddaughter; Cortney Spivey Livsey, Great-Grandson; Brighton Thomas Livsey, Great-Granddaughter; Ella Rose Livsey, Grandson-in-law; Joshua Livsey, Sister; Sandy Nelson, Brothers; Billy Spivey & Larry Waugh
A Celebration of life will be held in Crossville, Tennessee. Charitable contributions can be made to the American Lung Association or Disabled Veterans of America.
He will be truly loved and missed by his Family and Friends.
