Therese Y. Greenwalt

Therese Y. Greenwalt, 92, of Bradenton, FL formerly of East Freetown, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 after a long illness.

She was the wife of late Lee Roy Greenwalt with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.

Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Herve and Yvonne Parent. She worked for Raytheon Company for 30 years in the calibration lab and Aerovox of New Bedford for many years.  She was an active member of Wonder Bowl and enjoyed bowling with her sisters, cooking, gardening, vacationing and especially spending time with her family and friends.  She was an active member of ST. John of God Parish.

Surviving is a son, Glen Greenwalt and wife Michelle of Bradenton, FL, late son Mark Greenwalt, daughter Joselyn Kirby and husband Bruce of Marion; seven grandchildren, Vaughn, Stephanie, Max, Myles, Mason, Myrle and Brittany; 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of   Jeanne Block, Pauline Lyons, Georgette Parent, Simone Stemper, Roger Parent and the late Doris Cote and Claire McCardell.

Visitation will be Tuesday July 28,2020 9 5-7 PM at Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Her Funeral will be at 11 am at Rock Funeral Home   with Burial at Pine Grove Cemetery.
