Terrie Louise Wankowski

Terrie L. Wankowski, 53, of Bradenton was called home to Heaven on March 7, 2016, surrounded by family and friends.

Terrie was born in El Paso, Texas, the daughter of Hubert G. Horne & Hazel Herbert.

She grew up in Bradenton and graduated from Bayshore High School in 1980. On August 22, 1987 she married Frank Wankowski. Shortly after their marriage she became a loving mother to two sons, Craig and Jarrett.

Terrie enjoyed working as a banking professional and later pursued a career within the medical community.

Terrie is survived by her husband, Frank; two sons, Craig Wankowski and Jarrett Wankowski; mother, Hazel Herbert; two siblings, Larry (Jane) Reed and Valerie (Dennis) Herbert.

Terrie was preceded in death by her father, Hubert G. Horne; brother Donald Reed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Nate’s Honor Rescue or Manatee Players.
