Susan Lynn Mathias

Susan Lynn Mathias, of Bradenton, FL passed away on March 15, 2022. She was born in Illinois on December 20, 1952 to Robert and Marilyn. Susan enjoyed shaping young minds in her job as an English teacher at Lincoln Middle School in Palmetto, for 35 years. She also enjoyed spending time with her pets and loved her granddaughter. Susan is survived by her son, Jack K. Cole III; granddaughter, June Susan Cole; sister, Nancy (Vincent) Radosta; brother, James (Margaret) Wiese; her fiancé, Marc Bastarache and many close friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Dale Mathias Jr. Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 9:30-10:30AM with Service commencing at 10:30AM at Shannon Funeral Homes 1015 14th St. W Bradenton, FL. In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to the Bishop Animal Shelter, 5718 21st AVE W Bradenton, FL 34209.
