Stephen A. Kives

Stephen A. Kives Jr., of Bradenton,FL passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on June 13, 2018.

He was born on August 26, 1934 to Helen and Stephen Kives Sr.

Steve was affectionately known as (Old Man Steve) at Tony Begley?s 66 Way Shell Gas station on Cortez Rd for 17 years prior to his second retirement.
He worked as a Skill Tradesman machine repair on the midnight shift for 30 years at Pontiac Motors in Michigan before retiring at the young age of 48 years old!

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Peggy and their four children. Son: Barry (Carol) Kives of Canton GA, daughters: Linda (Roy Bowen) Hargraves of Clarksburg WV, Marja (Mark) Krywko of Bradenton and Shelley (Bill Cook) Ramsey of Bradenton FL.  Seven grandsons: Kenton (Helena)of Sweden, Andy (Wendy) of GA, Steve (Joyce)of CA, Mark (Mack)(Ellena)of FL, Jason (Amy)of FL, Brian (Melissa) of GA, and Daniel (Big Dan)(Asha)of FL, 16 great grandchildren, and he will be sorely missed by his beloved Jack Russell fur baby Lizzie.
Steve is also survived by his two brothers: Dave (Audrey)of IL and Andy (Joyce) of CA and several nieces and nephews, friends and acquaintances.

Preceded in death by his beloved sister, Sue Stenson of MI.
