Shirley M. Schaffer, 85, passed away on September 29, 2019 at Blake Hospital in Bradenton FL. Born September 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Andrew & Myrtle Geffert, Falco, Zullo.
She is survived by her daughters Janice Jarrell of Bradenton FL, Judith (Randy) Dean of Jasper, GA, Jennifer (Charles) Granda Sr of Bradenton, FL and Jolynn (Daniel) Vanderheiden of Rock Hill, SC, her brother: Richard (Ginny) Geffert, and step-brother Ernest Falco. As well as by her six grandchildren Jessica Jarrell, Jason (Rebecca) Jarrell and Janay Jarrell, David Dean, Daulton and Dylan Vanderheiden., her step-grandson: Charles (Kirsten) Granda Jr. An last but not least her two great grandsons: Aidan & Liam Jarrell and two step-great grandchildren: Adam & Lily Granda
She was the widow of Donald W. Schaffer, who passed away on January 22, 2009. Shirley lived in Easton, PA and graduated from Wilson Borough High School in 1953. Prior to retirement she was employed as a secretary by the Baker Chemical Company, Phillipsburg, NJ, then by the Bethlehem Corp of Easton, PA. She then worked for the Easton Area School District as a School Bus Driver and also the Palmeri Bus Company of Martins Creek, PA. For Palmeri she drove evening trips to Bingo Halls in the Lehigh Valley area until retiring to Florida in 2002. Shirley will be remembered for all her holiday decorations and her welcoming heart. She was an active member at the Westminster Presbyterian Church of Bradenton Fl, where she was a Deacon & was on the Fellowship Committee.
She is preceeded in death by her step-brother Edward Falco.

Graveside services will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota Fl on Jan 17, 2020 at 11:30. A Celebration of Life will be held on Jan 18, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Westminster Presbyterian Church In Bradenton FL officiated by Rev Robert C Smith.
