Sarah P. Miller

Sarah P. Miller, 88, Bradenton, passed away Feb. 23, 2015. Sarah was born on January 8, 1927 in Maryland to the late John and Ola (Sprout) Bostic. She moved to Bradenton in 1966 coming from Coatesville, PA.

Sarah worked as a certified nurse's aide for many years, and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 14 where she was Past Worthy Matron of Bradenton.

She was predeceased by her husband David in February of 2014, daughter, Sally Ann Draper, brother, Donald Bostic, and granddaughter, Roxanne. Survived by son, Glenn of Bradenton, daughter, Elaine Creasser of Charlotte, NC, five grandchildren; Jesse & Chelsea Miller, Matthew (Crystal) Creasser, Jennifer (Zack) Bridges, Tiffany (James) Miller, five great-grandchildren; Kylie, Chasidy, Heavenly, Damian, and Juliette, and many extended family members and friends. With a special thanks for the care she recived from the staff of Windsor Oaks and TideWell Hospice.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Shannon Funeral Home Town Chapel, 1015 14th St. W., Bradenton with an Eastern Star and religious service to follow at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto.
