Roslyn P Horwitz (nee Zingler), who lived in Bradenton, FL for the last 10 years, suddenly passed away on July 23, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Mel Horwitz.
Roslyn was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 6, 1937 to parents Herbert and Esther Zingler.
Roslyn grew up and worked in Philadelphia, PA. Roslyn worked for the Internal Revenue Service and at the Training Academy Division of Holmesburg Prison, both located in Philadelphia, PA.
Roslyn enjoyed the beach, curling up with a good book, watching movies and traveling. Roslyn was extremely creative and artistic. She had love for many things, but her biggest loves were her two children and her grandson.
Roslyn is survived by her son and daughter, Alan M Seltzer and Dale N Seltzer, her grandson, Nicholas Fleming, her sisters Linda White (the late Barry) and Jackalyn Mozenter, Suzanne Zingler who was the beloved wife of predeceased brother Arnold Zingler, and her many nieces and nephews.
Roslyn will be remembered for her incredible strength, her sense of humor, and the immense amount of love she had for her children and family. She will be missed by many.
A Graveside Service will be held promptly at 11:00 AM on May 1, 2022 at Montefiore Cemetery located at 600 Church Rd. Jenkintown, PA 19046
