ROSE, ZENAIDA DOMENECH April 13 1926-January 13 2015 was born in Guantanamo Cuba. In 1945 she left her family and many friends in Cuba to establish a new life in the US with Worth her husband of 59 yrs. When MSgt. Rose left to serve in Korea, she took her two children back to Cuba to await the war's end and her husband's return. She then returned to the US to learn English and become a proud naturalized citizen. She was a kind, loving and gentle woman, a devoted wife and mother. She loved playing cards and visiting with the family, especially the grandchildren. Her wonderful sense of humor and ready, warm laugh welcomed all those in her presence. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Worth, and siblings Teresa Guerra, Mariano Luis Domenech, Elba Guerra, Enrique and Carlos Domenech. She is survived by her son, Richard, and daughter, Teresa McCormick; Grandchildren Maria Hall, Melinda Cumbaa, Julie Wermuth, Kimberley Welsh, Aaron and Alice McCormick; Great grandchildren Angelina, Aidan, Lila, Beatrice, Ethan, Jack, Kaleab and Anthony; many nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
