Ronald Miller, 83 of Bradenton, passed away June 17, 2017.

Ron was born on November 4, 1933 in Paterson, New Jersey to the late William and Vernice (Snyder) Miller. He served his country faithfully during the Korean Conflict by serving with the U.S. Navy. Following his military service he worked as a milk man for Sicomac Dairy in Wyckoff, NJ.

He moved to Bradenton in 1991 coming from Ringwood, NJ. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bradenton, where he served as a Deacon, Elder. He also served on the Facilities Committee for many years, choir member and the Men’s breakfast group.

He was predeceased by a brother, William Miller and survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Joanne of Bradenton, four children; Brenda Miller of Oxford, CT, Karen Miller of Rockaway, NJ, Dale (Jacqueline) Miller of Indian Trail, NC, Scott (Lisa) Miller of Rockaway, NJ, brother, Donald (Marie) Miller of Walterboro, SC, seven grandchildren; Erin & Rachel Miller, Ian and Derek Todaro, Danielle, Adam and Nicholas Miller, and many extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1-1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 with a Celebration of Ron’s life to follow at 1:30P.M. at First Presbyterian Church of Bradenton, 1402 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Music Ministry at First Presbyterian Church, 410 15th St. W., Bradenton, FL. 34205 in his memory.
