Robert Joseph Vanslyke

On the evening of September 6, 2023, Robert J. Van Slyke passed away at the age of 55 due to an unforeseen tragedy.

Robert was born in Toledo, OH in 1968 to Robert H. Van Slyke and Suzanne E. Robarge.

Robert spent the majority of his life in Bradenton, FL where He never met a stranger and always was a helping hand to his neighbors. He never came across anything he could not fix. He carried the nickname of “Big Rob”.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tom.

He is survived by his 3 children; Anthony, Andrew and Joshua, along with four grandsons and two granddaughters, his 2 step-sons; Mike and Rick Willis, his sister; Mary Sue Mason, and his step-brother Jeff Robarge.
