Robert Dubois

December 29, 1953 — January 11, 2025

Bradenton

Robert (Bob) DuBois - a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend - passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025, at the age of 71, in Bradenton, Florida. He was born to parents Harry and Grace DuBois on December 29th, 1953, in Portland, Maine, and grew up in Glen Rock, New Jersey. He and his previous wife, Janet, raised three daughters in South Carolina and Florida. While working as head maintenance at a local school in Bradenton, Bob met and married Sandy, and they happily retired together in 2017.

An avid sports fan, Bob enjoyed spending time with his wife at the Bradenton Elks Lodge, listening to music, reading biographies, and spending time with his daughters, who adored him. He was a kind, generous, funny human being, who is loved and greatly missed by his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Sandra; his daughters Jaclyn, Alexandra, and Chloe; his grandchildren Atticus, Evelyn, and Baby Corona; his sister Jane and brother Ray; and his granddogs Iggy, Moose, Lady, and Star. His legacy of gentleness and humility lives on through his family and the memories they created together.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held Saturday, January 25th, at 2pm at Shannon Funeral Home in Bradenton, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
