Raymond Price McKenna

Ray, 82, of Parrish, Florida died March 25, 2018, at the Veterans Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL.

Ray was born in the Brooklyn Borough of New York City on April 6, 1936. He attended schools in New York & Pennsylvania. He graduated from Smith College in New York with a degree in Forestry.

Ray served his country in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U. S. Army as a paratrooper from 10/1953 to 10/1957.

He later worked as a steel salesman for many companies in New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio. He then ultimately started his own company, Economy Steel Distribution, Inc. in Bemus Point, N.Y., where the fishing is the best!

Ray married Connie Swanson in St. Croix on Nov. 24, 1993.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Connie and a blended family of children, Jeff, Jon, Stuart, Wendy, Holly, Scott, Bobby, April and Joseph and their spouses. There are a total of 17 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren and his brother Paul and family.

Ray was preceded in death by his Mom, Dad, Brother Peter and Sister Mary and a Granddaughter, Tracy.

Private burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Lakewood, NY.
