Raymond John Multer, 75 of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at his home. Raymond was born on November 14, 1939 in Queens, New York to the late William Howard and Miriam Martha (Stefaniak) Multer.
He worked as a mechanic for ConEdison for several years, and owned and operated his own farm in Margaretville, New York. Raymond moved to Bradenton in 2006 and lived here until 2009 when he moved back to Margaretville, then in 2013 he came back to Bradenton In his off time Raymond loved watching Nascar and was an avid reader.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donetta J. (Mainous) Multer, first wife, Rosemary Multer, son; William Multer and his wife Carol, seven daughters; Bethany Donnelly and her husband Bill, Karen Meinberg and her husband Brian, Kristine Ottomanelli and her husband Joseph, Lori Cogan and her husband Peter, Nancy DeVries and her husband Kevin, Diane Multer, Marjorie Rudiger and husband Hans, step-son, Michael Willard, step-daughter, Jenny Mahieu and her husband Mark, eighteen grandchildren; Drew Henriques, Raymond and Matthew Multer, Harry, Jack, Gavin and Cal Ottomanelli, Max, Sam, Zachary, and Madison Cogan, Mary, William Elizabeth Meinberg, Ava DeVries, Henley Donnolley, Hans and Simone Rudiger, three step-grandchildren; Joshua, Brandon, and Rylee Willard, and many extended family members and friends in New York and Florida.
Private family services will be held at a later date and time.
The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Margaretville Volunteer Fire Department of Margaretville, New York in his memory.
