Paula Kanzler

Paula Osan Kanzler completed her last dispatch on Saturday, August13, 2022 at the age of 65, in her home located Bradenton, Florida, after a recurring battle with cancer. Paula was a loving wife, sister and friend, who lived life her way and with passion. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Joe, sisters Mary Beth Pierro and Hope Yencho, brothers, Jerry, Brian, and Kevin. She is predeceased by her brother Michael, father Charles, and mother Cecilia. Paula grew up in Cheswick, PA. She attended St. Alphonsus School and graduated from Springdale High before moving to Bradenton at the insistence of her father in 1978 She impacted thousands of lives through her career in Public Safety, working as a dispatcher, supervisor, and 911 Coordinator for the Manatee County Emergency Communications Center for 30 years. Paula was a great friend, with an incredible wit who lived life fiercely and with zest. Laughter always rang out when Paula was around! She was an artist, an excellent cook and baker, an antique lover and loved her animals with passion. She delighted in driving Joe crazy with her many new ideas and projects, and she loved him greatly during their 30 years of marriage. Paula was one of a kind, her own person, and lived her way. A celebration of life will be held for those who knew and loved her at Tara Golf Club on September 15th, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
