Monsies "Moe" Silva, passed away peacefully, at his Bradenton home on July 7, 2024, at the age of 88.
He was born September 25, 1935, in McAllen, Texas, A beloved father, grandfather, and brother, he will be dearly missed.
Moe was an accomplished welder, taking great pride in his contributions to iconic structures like the St. Louis Arch and the Chicago's underground train system. He was one of the men who built America.
Moe is survived by his children, siblings, and many extended family members and friends.
Service will be held in Moe's honor on July 27th at Shannon Funeral Home in Bradenton, Florida. Viewing will begin at 9:00 am, followed by the service at 10:00 am.
Moe will be laid to rest with his family at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
