Michelle Rene Bush

Michelle Rene Bush, 52, of Bradenton, passed away on April 24, 2021.  She was born in Tennessee to Roy (BG) and Miriam (Meme) Jolly.

Michelle joined Meme in Heaven who passed away a mere 4 days prior on April 20, 2021.  Michelle and Meme were always close and can now spread the “Jolly” happiness together in Heaven with BG.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Jerry, the SkyBros, Nathan and Jacob and her creative, artistic brother Kurt.

Michelle was a math teacher that always put her students before anything else.  She had a wonderful, unconventional way to explain math so anyone could understand the hardest problems and become a math wiz.

Michelle’s favorite thing to do was go to local and some not so local restaurants with her family. She was well known by friends and students for her creative note cards.  Mermaids and Unicorns were found on many of them.  Doing crafts was her favorite hobby.  Rubber stamps, glitter glue, markers, paint brushes, note cards and canvas’ were found all over the house as she made some breathtaking creations.  The “365 Days of Nathan Sky Bush” will be remembered by many.

Michelle also loved the beach and putting her feet in the sand.  Jerry and Michelle would spend countless hours enjoying the beach and each other’s company.  When Nathan was born he was a beach baby.  He started skim boarding at a young age enjoying the waves.  Jacob’s favorite beach activity was making sand race tracks for his cars and trucks as well as throwing and kicking balls.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and time to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's or Tidewell Hospice.
