Michael Lawrence Miser

On Thursday, January 14, 2021, Michael L. Miser of Palmetto, FL passed way at the age of 62 following a prolonged illness. Mike was born on January 22, 1958 in Dennison, OH.

He moved to Florida with his family in 1971 and with the exception of the 4 yrs he served in the U.S. Army he called Florida his home for the remainder of his life.  Following his military service he attended Manatee Community where he majored in Hotel and restaurant management and Minored in music. He played tuba in the high school and collage band as well as in the Army band.

On Sept 8, 1997 he married his long time love Cathy Harris-Larramore.  They shared a love of animals and loved spending time away together  in the Smokey mountains. Cathy was a talented floral designer and together they opened and ran a successful floral business in Ellenton FL for a number of years.

Mike is preceeded in death by both parents, his wife and 1 brother.

He is survived by 4 sisters, Debbie Knight  and Brenda Taylor both of Bradenton, FL Kristen Williams of St. Louis, MO and Kathy Priebe of Clinton Township, MI. 2 brothers, Ken Miser or Palmetto, FL and David Olscwa of Navarre, FL. And 2 step-sons
