Alva was best known by many loving family and friends as “Matt”. Matt was born and raised in the city of Bradenton, in the sunshine state of Florida. He was such a kind soul with a big heart that was filled with nothing but love. Matt’s heart was not only for his family and friends, but he also spread that joy and care to animals. He cared and appreciated everything in life. His family was everything to him. If he wasn’t surrounded with love from family or friends, Matt would spend his quiet time fishing.

Matt was a gentle soul that was taken from us too soon. We are lost for words, but all your memories will forever live. Matt is survived by his (wife) Sarah Perry, (son) Maxwell Charles Perry, (parents) Tami C. Perry and Alva M. Perry Sr., (sisters) Jamie Perry and Jennifer Perry, (brothers) Jason Parson and Jesus Figueroa, (nieces and nephews), from oldest to youngest; Jason, Lily, Ian, Jaxon, Liam and George.
