Mary Jo Vanselow

Mary Jo Vanselow, 96, formerly of Springfield, died Sunday, May 13, at her residence in Freedom Village, Bradenton, Florida.

Born in Chicago, IL, on Oct. 22, 1921, and the wife of Albert C. Vanselow, who preceded her in death in 1988, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Letitia R. Kaliszewski, Chicago.

She graduated from Springfield High School and was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church before retiring to Bradenton, FL.

Mrs. Vanselow is survived by four children: David, Eureka Springs, AR; Linda Shipley (Gary), New Lenox, IL; Robert (Patricia), Palatine, IL; and Jerry, Gainesville, FL., and by five
grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Private funeral services for the family will be held at some date this summer, with interment at Oakridge Cemetery in Springfield.
