Mary H. Finnerty

Mary Finnerty of Holmes Beach passed away on November 4, 2019.

She is survived by her loving children: Maureen (Bill) Shuman, Brian ( Madeleine), Michael ( Linda), Diane (Gerard) Drinkard. As well as by her sister Alice Lauber, her sister-in-law Ann Finnerty,  and her grandchildren: Brian Jr., Matthew, Megan, Andrew, and Danielle.

She is predeceased by her three children; Paul Jr., Kathleen and Patricia, her brother Leo Higgins, and sister Marguerite Heffernan.

Mary received a Bachelor of Science from College of St. Elizabeth. She was a member of the Ladies of Ancient Hibernians and St. Vincent de Paul Society. She served as a usher for Saint Peter and Paul Apostles Catholic Church, as well as was an active member in other church activities. We will all miss her always smiling face.

Visitation is Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 4-6 at Shannon Funeral Homes Westview Chapel. 5610 Manatee Ave W, Bradenton. Funeral Mass will be held at Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 9:30 am. 2850 75th St W, Bradenton.

She will be laid to rest with her husband at Sarasota National Cemetery. Family asks memorial donations be made in Mary's name to St. Vincent de Paul Society or to Tidewell Hospice.
