Mark Rodney Wells

Mark Rodney Wells, 62 of Bradenton, passed away after his courageous fight with cancer on March 28th, 2023 with his family by his side.

He was born in Flint, Michigan in 1960 to Diana Kimball and Harold Wells.

Mark was a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as an Apprentice Crypto Linguist Specialist. He was a retired United States Postal Service letter carrier for 25 years and enjoyed working out, taking cruises, shooting at the gun range, and spending time with his family and friends.

Mark is survived by his daughters, Krista (Jared) Zimmerman and Kaycee Wells; sons Kenneth Remsnyder, Nathan Remsnyder, and Kevin Remsnyder; and a grandson due to be born in May 2023.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 6th, 2023 at 10:30AM at Bayside Community Church-Bee Ridge campus, 8200 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota, FL 34241, with the funeral service at 11:30AM at the church. Committal will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery following the service at 1:30PM.
