Marjorie Jane Wright

Marjorie Jane Wright, 94, Sarasota, passed away March 27, 2017.
She was born on October 19, 1922 in Norwalk, Connecticut to the late Frederick Lloyd and Dolena Vivian (McKay) Greenough. She has been a resident of Sarasota off and on since 1977 until becoming a permanent resident last year.
Marjorie was a retired project manager for the Thompson Group. She attended the Redeemer Episcopal Church, member of the Daughters of the King at St. Wilfred’s Episcopal Church, both of Sarasota.
She was predeceased by her husband John Orville Wright, and her sister Katherine Atherton, and is survived by her four caring children; Gregory (Cherlynn) Guy of  Davenport, FL, Carol Sutphin of Sarasota, Kim Stuckens of Edmonds, WA, Kara Wright of Portland, OR, ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at a later date to be announced.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to either the American Cancer Society or TideWell Hospice Inc. in her memory.
