Lynn Henkel

Lynn Henkel, 68, of Bradenton, passed away Tuesday March 3, 2020.

He was born in Iowa.  His father was a physician.  When his father died, his mom remarried and they moved to Lincoln Nebraska.

Lynn then moved to Bradenton and worked as a ball room dance instructor for a few years.  Later, Lynn worked at both Manatee and Blake hospitals, afterword becoming an EMT and then a paramedic.  While doing this, he became a professional photographer traveling, the country working with models.  After retiring as a paramedic he work for Johnson PhotoImaging until he again retired.

A Memorial Gathering to remember Lynn will be held April 3rd at the ArtCenter Manatee at 209 9th St W in Bradenton from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.  Enter parking from 3rd Ave.  Entry door on E side of building.

A remembrance fund for Lynn has been set up at ArtCenter Manatee with proceeds to be used for the new photography education work room.
