Lt. Joseph Eugene Perry, M.C.S.O.

October 16, 1970 — June 18, 2015

Lieutenant Joseph Eugene Perry, born October 16, 1970 who passed on to greener pastures June 18th, 2015.

Joseph is survived by his doting mother Kathryn Perry, his loving faithful wife Tamara Perry, his beautiful son Justin Perry, his amazing step son Ryan Oxford and his four siblings Albert Perry, Scott Perry, Heath Perry and Ann Elizabeth Perry.

Joseph was a pillar of strength to his family, community and those who served with him at the Manatee Sheriff's Office, he was a decorated officer whose only love behind God and his family was law enforcement. Joseph dedicated his life to serving his community through this passion. He was also an accomplished artist and craftsman whose ultimate goal was to have a rustic home on a river in Idaho where he and Tamara, who is also an artist, planned on spending their retirement creating bronze art work together under the majestic Idaho skies.

Joseph will be missed by all who had the great honor of knowing him and had their lives enriched by this honorable thoughtful, stoic man. There will now be an empty space that no man will ever be able to fill, so his life must be celebrated.

Please join his family and friends at the Church of the Nazarene, Wednesday, June 24 2015 at 11 a.m. to celebrate the life of one of the most giving men who touched so many lives... Be peaceful my brother....

The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Pit Bull Happenings Inc. P.O. Box 82, Port Richey Fl. 34673 in his memory.

Condolences for the family may be made online at www.shannonfuneralhomes.com .
