Lawrence T Bastien

Lawrence T. Bastien, 52 of Palmetto, Florida, passed away on March 9, 2016 at his residence.

Lawrence was born on October 23, 1963 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts to George L. and Nancy (Snow) Bastien. He moved to Manatee County seven years ago coming from Fitchburg.

Locally he worked as a construction worker for Whitehead Construction in Cortez and loved to play the guitar.

He was predeceased by his father, and is survived by his two loving children; Joshua Merchant of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Krista Merchant of Ashburnham, Massachusetts, mother, Nancy Bastien of Whitman, Massachusetts, brother, Daniel Bastien of Bradenton, Florida, three grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Lawrence’s life will be held later this week in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
