Kenneth Green

September 23, 1943 — June 7, 2022

Kenneth Lloyd Green, of Riverview, regretfully passed away on 6-7-2022 after a long battle with cancer. He was born 9-23-1943 in Bradenton, Florida and he graduated from Palmetto High School in 1961. Ken proudly served his country by joining the U.S. Air Force in 1964 and retired in 1988. Ken attended MIC and received a degree as a Paralegal. He worked for Solomon Brothers Investment Bank in Tampa until 1998. Ken worked with the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office as an Investigative Analyst for 20 years retiring in 2020. Ken is survived by his wife, Beverly, his stepson Travis Alfonso and granddaughter Roxie White, brother Robert Green and nieces Pam Andress (Dwight) and Stephanie Kelly (Daniel) and their children. Ken is preceded in death by his parents John L. and Lurlyne Green, and his step-daughter Rhonda White. There will be a visitation at Shannon Funeral Home, 1015 14th Street W., Bradenton, FL on Wednesday, June 29th from 11:00 – 11:45 am. He will be laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 SR 72, Sarasota, FL. For those who wish to attend the burial, we will meet at the cemetery by 1:15 pm. Military Honors Services will begin promptly at 1:30.
