Kay King Anderson, 61, Anna Maria, Florida, passed away April 11, 2015.

Kay was born on December 24, 1953 in Havre de Grace, Maryland to the late Lyle E. and Emmalena (Atteberry) King. She worked as tax account in Illinois.

Kay moved to Florida in 2004 coming from Freeport, Illinois where she and her husband first settled in Ft. Myers until 2007 when they moved to Anna Maria. While living in Anna Maria she volunteered with the Roser Memorial Church Food Pantry.

She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Barry Anderson of Anna Maria, Florida, brother, Scott and his wife Kathy King of Freeport, Illinois, and many extended family members and friends.

There will be no local services. Visitation and services will be held in Freeport, Illinois under the direction of the Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to the Roser Memorial Church Food Pantry in Kay’s memory.
