Karen Jane Ashman

Karen Jane Ashman (Kane), 59, passed away on March 29th, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones in the comfort of her home. Devoted and loving mother to Madison (Kane) Barnes and Mikayla Kane, both of Bradenton, Fl. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Kane, with whom she was married to since 1992. She is the daughter of the late John and Joan Ashman. Karen was the sunshine on a rainy day, although she truly loved her rainy days too. Her kindness left a mark on anyone blessed in her presence. Her silly and whimsical nature was so enjoyable and her laugh was simply contagious. She was coined the nickname “Care Bear” as it so perfectly described her. Karen was seen as a mother not only to her daughters, but also to those who bore witness to the amplitude of love she poured into everyone’s lives. Her impact helped create a wave of kind, gentle, loving, and caring human beings that will carry on for generations to come. She always regarded her daughters as her best achievement, however, it is believed that her magnanimous love was indeed her greatest legacy.
