Juanita was born in St. Andrews, Jamaica, grew up on the Island of Cayman Brac, and eventually moved to the United States, where she became a U. S. Citizen. She eventually ended up in New York where she lived with her husband, until they both retired and moved to Palmetto, Florida.
Juanita retired as an IRC (Head Clerk) from Green Haven State Prison in New York.
She was a Master Gardener and enjoyed taking care of her "Ponderosa Estate" as well as helping friends and neighbors with their gardening needs. She loved playing Bingo, especially with her friend, LuAnne.
She also enjoyed going to Busch Gardens, day trips, shopping, going to church and her cats, Boris and Natasha.
Juanita is survived by her loving husband, Chuck Centanni of Palmetto, Fl. Her mother Freda Lazzari, brother Pedro Lazzari of Cayman Island, sister Helen Lerner of Ormond Beach, Fl, son Matthew Burroughs of Tampa, Fl, son Nathaniel Burroughs of Louisiana, granddaughter Olivia Burroughs and grandson Foster Burroughs.
She is predeceased by her father Limon Foster.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Happy Gospel Church with Pastor Bill Bailey.
