John proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, demonstrating his commitment to his country and the values he held dear. He was a kind and humble soul, and will be remembered for his gentle nature, unwavering generosity, and the joy he brought to those around him.

He leaves behind his beloved furry companion, Sheba, along with a loving circle of family and friends who will carry his spirit in their hearts.

A service to honor John's life will be held on February 4, 2025, at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida. The interment will begin at 11:30 AM, and the ceremony will conclude at noon. Friends and family are welcomed to gather to celebrate the life of a remarkable man.
