John Joseph Ogilby

John J. Ogilby, of Holmes Beach, passed away on July 3, 2017.

He is survived by his loving daughter; Karen Hamilton, five grandchildren; Paul Hamilton, Will Hamilton, J.J. Ogilby, Graham Ogilby, and Marielle Ogilby.

He was predeceased by his wife and the love of his life; Muriel Ogilby and son; John Ogilby Jr.

John had a long and successful career with Tropicana Orange Juice.

John was an avid water lover. He enjoyed sailing and fishing with family and friends in the Gulf of Mexico.

He was very appreciative of Manatee County for all the opportunities it provided him.

John's family would like to thank the many people who provided love, care and support thru these hard times.

A Memorial Reception will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 from10:00 am to 12:00 (noon) at Shannon Funeral Home, 5610 Manatee Ave Bradenton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sheriff's Boy Ranch.
