Jimmie Lee King

Jimmie Lee King, 69 of Bradenton, Florida passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton.

Jimmie was born on December 19, 1946 in Pickensville, Alabama to the late Walter Minor and Annie King. He moved to Bradenton over 30 years ago coming from Michigan City, Indiana. Locally he worked installing traffic lights.

He was predeceased by two brothers; Eugene and David King, and is survived by his two sons; Sgt. Walter Minor, US Army of Germany, Martin Minor of Little Rock, Arkansas, daughter; Genoria Hilge of Spain, three brothers; Earlie and Frank King of Carrollton, Alabama, Willie James King of Bradenton, Florida, sister; Georgia Ruth Edwards of Bronx, New York, nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date and time in Alabama.
