Jimmie L Curington

Jimmie L. Curington, 81, a lifelong resident of Bradenton, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018.

Jimmie was born October 16th, 1937 to Claude and Gladys (Westberry) Curington.

After graduating high school Jimmie joined the US Navy where he served his country proud from October 1955- October 1958. He began working at GTE as a lineman and spent his career there retiring after 42 years.

Jimmie enjoyed fishing and spending time with his loving family. He is survived by his son Mike (Rhonda) Curington, daughter Sandra (Jimmy) Galanis, and daughter Donna Curington. His three grandchildren Jessica Page Tipton (Thomas), Derek Lawson Munster, and Landon Curington. He has also 2 Great-grandchildren Georgia May and Thomas Jr. Tipton.

He is predeceased by his loving wife Elaine (Frisbie) Curington in 2004 after 40 plus years of marriage. He will be laid to rest with her at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
