Jesse R. Elkins, Jr., 74, Bradenton, passed away November 29, 2015.

Jesse was born February 14, 1941 in Vigo County, Indiana to the late Jesse R. Sr. and Mildred Elkins. He moved to Bradenton in 1979-80 coming from Terre Haute, IN. Locally he worked in the construction industry.

He is predeceased by his loving wife of 17 years, Denise T. Elkins in 2004 and is survived by his two sons; Jay (Tina) Elkins of Parrish, FL, Brian Elkins of Bradenton, FL, Johanne (Francois) Turcotte of Palmetto, FL, two brothers, Robert (Rose) Elkins of W. Terre Haute, IN, Richard Lorose of Canada 10 Grandchildren, 14 Great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Saturday, December 5, 2015 with services to follow at 11:00 A.M. at Shannon Funeral Home Town Chapel, 1015 14th St. W., Bradenton, Fl.
