Jerry Edwin Anderson

Jerry Edwin Anderson born June 8, 1943 entered peacefully to eternal rest on July 29, 2020 at the age of 77. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Chester Anderson, his mother, Ruth Anderson, and son-in-law, Tommy Masterson. Jerry, an Air Force Veteran, is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Doris Jane Anderson, daughter Judy M. Burke (Terry), and his siblings; Darlene Schmitt (Mike), Rita Marshall, Jimmy Anderson (Kim), Regina Hall (Sonny). Papaw is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Jerry was a Route Salesman Supervisor for Pepsi, and a Facility Maintenance Supervisor at Louisville Forge and Gear. One of the memorable highlights is the good times with family and friends at his Rough River lake house enjoying boating, and sitting around the campfire. Jerry enjoyed playing golf, and living on the 4th hole in Georgetown, Kentucky. Jerry retired to Bradenton Florida in 2009. His family and friends from Kentucky to Florida will miss Jerry. In lieu of flowers, should friends and family desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The American Legion U.S. Veterans Association, or charity of choice.
