It is with great sadness that the family of Jennifer Lee Jones announces her passing on June 11, 2018, at the age of 59.

Jennifer was a lifetime resident of Bradenton. She graduated from Manatee High School and attended Manatee Junior College and Florida State University. She was employed in the Manatee County Clerk’s office before becoming a Registered Nurse, serving proudly in the medical field for many years.

She was loving, caring, funny, talented, and brilliant. She touched many lives in many ways.

She is predeceased by her father, Col. Needham B. “Bud” Jones.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Taylor Blackwell; her mother, Mary Ina Baden; her step-mother, Georgia “G. Lee” Jones; her aunt and uncle, Nick and Ina Baden; her sisters, Katrina Roehl (Bob) and Shannon DeChelbor; her step-sister, Camille Rondeaux (Lionel); her step-brothers, Todd Chapman (Tamara), Reid Zoller (Mona), and Jeff Zoller (Stephanie); her cousins, Holley Perez (Greg) and Heather Wallace (Dan); her niece, Lillianna, and nephews, Austin, Nick, Ben, Luke, Nate, and Liam; her former husband, Grant Blackwell; and her faithful friend, Jim Pettus.

She will be forever remembered by countless other family members and dear friends.

The family acknowledges and is eternally grateful for the loving care and support given to Jennifer by her doctors, Manatee Memorial Hospital, and Hospice House of Bradenton.

Loving family and friends will celebrate her life on Saturday, June 16th from 4:00-6:00pm at Palma Sola Botanical Park, 9800 17th Ave NW, Bradenton.
