Jeanette Marie Dwyer

Jeannette “Jan” Dwyer, passed away on March 29th, 2023, at the age of 62 due a short but strong battle against lung cancer.

As one of 6 siblings Jan was born in RI, in 1961. Jan and her late husband Kevin Dwyer were happily married in 1984 and continued to grow their family and had fulfilled their dream by moving to Florida in 2005.

With a long career with the United States Post Office, she used her spare time to find new ways to spoil all her children, grandchildren and pets and brought enjoyment and love to so many. Jan was an avid Patriots fan and spent many hours trying to perfect her fantasy football teams but always found outdoor enjoyment through her many annual park passes in the state and would regularly express her passion for Halloween Horror Nights.

Jan will be lovingly remembered by her four children Holly, Tom, Kevin and Derek, their significant others and 9 grandchildren; Ariana, Noah, Lyla, Katelyn, Michael, Olivia, Derek, Donovan, Lisa, while also being lovingly remembered by her siblings Christine, Cynthia, Michael, Deborah and all of Jan’s nieces and nephews. With Jan’s passing she will be reunited with her parents Edward Sr and Beverly, brother Edward and Loving Husband Kevin Dwyer.

A viewing service will be held Friday, April 7th, 2023, 12 – 1:30 pm, at Shannon’s Funeral Home in Bradenton Florida, followed by her burial at mansion memorial park in Ellenton, FL. Please contact the funeral home for more information.
