James William Jacks, 61, of Bradenton, passed away June 26, 2016.
James was born on November 27, 1954 in Bradenton, Florida to the late James Walker and Betty (Rogers) Jacks. He was a graduate of the Palmetto High School, and was a member of the 10th Street Baptist Church in Palmetto.
He worked as a rod buster. During his career he worked for several local construction companies including working with the Manatee County Highway and Road Department until his forced retirement due to injuries from a severe car accident.
James was predeceased by his parents, a brother Joseph Keith Jacks and a sister Kelly Sykes-Jacks. He is survived by his beloved wife who he has been with for over 30 years, Brenda Lane Jacks of Bradenton, two brothers; Charles Jacks and his wife Judy of Athens, South Carolina, Michael Jacks of Asheville, North Carolina, and many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of James’s life will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Terra Ceia, 1704 Center Rd, Terra Ceia, FL.
