James 'Eddie' Edgar Boleyn

SFC James Edgar 'Eddie' Boleyn, passed away at his home Sunday morning, February 2, 2014.


Eddie was born May 18, 1956 in Cincinnati Ohio to Edgar and Mattie Boleyn. He leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years, Deven, beloved mother Mattie, brother Bobby (Paulette), niece Rachael and several cousins. He is predeceased by his father Edgar and sister Lola Fay. His family moved to Sarasota Fl in 1966. He attended Sarasota High, traveled with the circus before joining the Army in 1975. He was stationed in Korea. He also went to Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan. He retired after 30 years in the Army. He was very patriotic and loved his country.

Eddie enjoyed being with family and friends and always cooking something in the kitchen. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, feeding the horses, hanging at the gazebo, feeding the fish and playing with Paisley. He especially enjoyed indulging and spoiling his wife. He never met a stranger. He loved telling jokes and pulling pranks. He was very quick-witted and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He will be missed by many friends, family and especially his loving wife.
