Gregory Lee Atkinson

Gregory Atkinson 62 of Bradenton Florida passed away on September 28, 2021 from complications due to Covid.

Greg was born on September 28, 1958 in Hattisburg Mississippi to Robert Sr and Doris Atkinson he was a teacher for many years and then he enjoyed working in Lawn & garden at Lowe’s. He is held many jobs over his lifetime and he always had a story about one of them. He loves to tell jokes and make people laugh.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents Robert Sr and Doris Atkinson

Greg is survived by his wife Tammy Atkinson and his stepdaughter Stephanie Ryan. He is also survived by his brother Robert Atkinson Jr and his wife Nancy, his sister Diane Harrell and her husband Steve, his sister Renee Hastings and her husband Tim.

There were many things that Greg loved he loved watching football especially Miami Dolphins and he loved koala bears he like to golf he love to sing and use his voice to lift up to the Lord and lead people to Jesus with his voice and he love to just relax at home with his dogs he was a member of the Bridge Church and his favorite part of the week was getting to go to church.

The celebration of life arrangements are being held by Shannon funeral home at 1015 14th St., West Bradenton FL 34205 the services will be held October 7, 2021 from 5 to 7 PM it is an open house come as you are, he wanted a party to celebrate his life.
