Grace Brinker Crowder

Grace Brinker Crowder, 94, passed away September 17, 2017.

She was born in Canal Fulton, Ohio. She moved to Florida in 1943, where she lived in Ft. Myers, Sarasota, and then in 1962, she moved to Bradenton.

Grace assisted her husband, John Crowder, as he and his brother, Chester, built Crowder Bros. Hardware. She was actively engaged in the family business until 2005 when she retired.

She was a founding board member of Children's Haven and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Bradenton.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, John Kelly Crowder.

She is survived by her 6 children; Gracie Horne (Randy), Paula Zoller (Jim), Karen Crowder, John Crowder, Ron Crowder (Jina), and Don Crowder. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

At her request, her family will have an informal gathering with friends and family at a later date to celebrate her life.
