Glenn F Bauman

September 15, 1957 — September 30, 2022

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Glenn F. Bauman Jr., 65, of Palmetto, Florida, who lost his battle with cancer on the morning of September 30, 2022. Glenn was born on September 15, 1957, in Belleville, Illinois to Glenn and Jaunita Bauman, 1 of 4 children.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Rosemary; daughters, Mary (Kenneth) Fossa, Candy (Mike) Suggs, and Jamie Bauman; grandchildren, Chelsea (Chris) Pahuta, Madison (Drake) Sandefur, Jordan Walker, Elena Joiner, Brad Suggs, Khylee, Mia, and Gary Polk, Paisley and Kaylei Johnson, Devin and Damian Freno, and Joshua Bauman; great-grandchildren, Lily and Luna Pahuta, and Cameron Sandefur; Sisters, Lynn Mackie, and Jeanean Sapp; Sister-n-love, Leila (Bobby) Wiley, and Roxanne Blackwelder, Mother-n-love, Mary Harrell, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, younger brother, James Bauman, and youngest daughter, Nicole Bauman.

Glenn had a huge heart and infectious laugh. He was someone you could look up to and admire. He was someone you could brag about and be proud of. He was the one you went too to get something fixed. He was the mechanic of the family. He was always there when you needed something. Glenn loved fishing. To be honest if you could not find him anywhere, you better believe he was out there casting a line trying to catch that “Big One!”

Glenn's love was unconditional, and this is something we will cherish from his character – and take with us forever. His kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

There will be no formal service at this time due to the request of Glenn.
