Norma Genevieve (Sis) Gilmore Born November 16th, 1922 in Miami, Florida, Family moved to Wauchula In 1933 She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Lynn Gilmore; her mother and father John M. Mosley and Norma M. Mosley; her brother John F. Mosley JR. and her sister, Rebecca Raskley. She is survived by her sister Jacquelyn Long of Wauchula, sister-in-law Mary Gilmore of Wauchula, Cindy Self (Jim) of Arcadia, Nancy Tremmell (Emmette) of Bradenton, Hulsey (DeWayne) of Ona. She is also survived by loyal friends Janior Savage, Cindy and Stanley Yarn of Bradenton. Genevieve graduated Wauchula High School in 1940.She worked for Selective Service Draft Board during World War II. After the war was over Genevieve and Lynn moved to Bradenton. She worked in banking for many years, all aiming for the position of Senior V.P. Genevieve and Lynn were charter members of West Bradenton Baptist Church. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bradenton at her death. Genevieve’s services were held at graveside in Wauchula Cemetery on June 16th, 2022 with Rev. Travis Hudson officiating.
