Gary Allen Allred, Jr.

Gary Allen Allred, Jr., 51, of Sarasota, passed away December 28, 2016 at his residence.

Gary was born on January 7, 1965 in Indiana to the late Gary Allen, Sr. and Norma (Terry) Allred. Gary at a young age moved to Battle Creek, Michigan where he was reared. Then at the age of 18 he moved to the Sarasota and Bradenton area. Locally he worked as a chef for numerous places and at the time of his passing was working at the Lakewood Ranch Country Club.

Survived by his beloved wife, Cathy Doxtator Allred of Sarasota, loving son; Joseph Capria of Sarasota, brother, Johnny Schultis of Auburn, Indiana, three sisters; Deanna Calhoun of Zephyrhills, Florida, Kristi Allred and Becky Crowe both of Battle Creek, Michigan, one precious grandson; JoJo Capria of Sarasota, and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Lakewood Ranch Country Club East, 16235 Player Drive, Lakewood Ranch, Florida   34202.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
